Be Something Different: A Vision for the Wyoming We Can Build Together

For years, Wyoming has been told that our choices come down to the same familiar names, the same political pathways, the same patterns of leadership that rise and fall with party tides. But everywhere I go — from Cheyenne to Cody, from Douglas to Evanston — people tell me they no longer believe that the old approach is working.

They don’t feel heard.
They don’t feel represented.
And they don’t feel like anyone is fighting for the Wyoming their families worked so hard to build.

That’s why this campaign is built around a simple but powerful idea:
Be Something Different.

Not just do something different.
Not just vote differently.
But be different — in how we lead, how we listen, how we serve, and how we build the future of this state.

“Be Something Different” isn’t a slogan.
It’s a direction.
It’s a calling.
It’s a decision to break away from the old political habits that have drained trust and divided communities.

And it’s the reason I entered this race as an unaffiliated write-in candidate. Wyoming doesn’t need the same thing with a new label. Wyoming needs leadership unbound from party machinery and centered on people — real people — who deserve honesty, clarity, and conviction.

Why Wyoming Is Ready for Something Different

Wyomingites don’t care about political theater — they care about truth and solutions. When people tell me what they want from a governor, they aren’t asking for more drama, more bureaucracy, or more rulemaking.

They are asking for leadership that:

  • listens before speaking
  • values people over politics
  • isn’t controlled by donors or party bosses
  • tells the truth even when it costs something

In other words, they’re asking for something different than what they’ve been given.

And that difference matters now more than ever, because Wyoming is facing real challenges — not superficial ones. We’re staring down issues of land use, family stability, cost of living, addiction, education, taxation, and a state government that continues to grow while promising to shrink.

Wyoming needs leadership that doesn’t just cope with these issues — but confronts them with courage, creativity, and conviction.

Being Something Different Means Leading With Purpose — Not Politics

Traditional politics asks leaders to serve the interest of the system.
This campaign asks leaders to serve the people.

That means:

  • stepping outside the party echo chambers
  • being willing to talk to everyone
  • choosing integrity over advantage
  • refusing to treat principles as optional
  • rebuilding trust through relationship, not rhetoric

Being different isn’t about being rebellious — it’s about being responsible.

Wyoming is hungry for leadership that is comfortable being honest, even when honesty isn’t fashionable. Leadership that doesn’t spend its time guarding political territory, but instead opens the doors and asks, “What do you need? How can we serve you better?”

This is the heartbeat of a people-driven campaign.

The Four Pillars Behind the Vision

I promised I wouldn’t repeat these constantly — and I won’t — but the truth is:
the direction I want Wyoming to move in is rooted in the same values that shaped my life and countless others in this state.

A stronger Wyoming is built on:

  • foundations that keep us grounded,
  • priorities that strengthen our homes and communities,
  • freedoms that are lived, not granted,
  • and decisions made with generations in mind instead of election cycles.

These aren’t political ideas.
They’re Wyoming ideas.

And all of them point back to one truth: our state becomes its best when its leadership reflects the people, not the parties.

Why This Movement Matters in the 2026 Governors Race

This election is more than a contest — it’s a crossroads.
We can continue down a path of predictable politics, familiar disappointments, and optional principles… or we can choose to Be Something Different and reshape the future of Wyoming.

This race is not about left or right.
It’s about up or down.
Up toward trust, transparency, and courage —
or down into the same cycle that has frustrated so many of us for so long.

Being something different means we don’t settle for the “lesser of two evils” anymore.
We choose leaders who reflect who we are — not who the parties want us to be.

And Wyoming is ready for that choice.

A Final Word to the People of This Great State

If you’re tired of politics as usual…
If you’re tired of leaders who blend in instead of standing up…
If you want a governor who represents you — not a party machine —
then I believe this movement is for you.

“Be Something Different” isn’t about me.
It’s about Wyoming stepping forward with courage and choosing a different way — a better way — together.
