Breaking the Shackles of Taxation – Why Wyoming Needs to Lead the Fight
Taxes. We all hate them, but somehow, every level of government finds new ways to take more of our hard-earned money—like an overbearing landlord that keeps raising the rent on a place we already own.

And while property tax reform in Wyoming is critical, let’s be honest—the real beast isn’t just in Cheyenne. It’s in Washington, D.C., where politicians have been feeding on our paychecks for decades. If we’re serious about protecting Faith, Family, Freedom, and our Future, we can’t just fix taxes at the state level—we have to push back against federal overreach too.

Federal Taxes: The Real Chains on Wyoming’s Economy Wyoming is one of the most resource-rich states in the country, yet we’re constantly treated like a financial colony for the federal government. Here’s how the feds are crippling our prosperity:

Federal income tax drains billions from hardworking Wyomingites, while D.C. wastes it on pork-barrel projects and bloated bureaucracies.
Federal regulations choke our energy industry, making it harder to generate revenue at home.
They love to tax, but they don’t love to return our money. For every dollar Wyoming sends to Washington, how much actually comes back? Not nearly enough.

What Can Wyoming Do About It?

Some might say, “Well, Joseph, you’re running for governor, not president. What can you do?”

A lot more than people think. Wyoming isn’t just a state—we’re a sovereign force, and as governor, I plan to push back on federal overreach and reclaim our economic independence.

Champion State Sovereignty – We will fight back against unconstitutional federal mandates that cripple our economy and restrict our ability to govern ourselves.
Lead a Coalition of States – Wyoming won’t stand alone. I will work with other like-minded governors to challenge federal taxation policies that disproportionately hurt states like ours.
Push for Federal Tax Reform – We must demand a fairer system that allows states to keep more of what they earn instead of sending it to a broken, inefficient federal machine.
