On April 25, 2025, I attended the Turning Point USA event in Cheyenne — not as a speaker, but as someone who wanted to listen, shake hands, and remind young freedom-lovers that they matter more than they think. I walked away from this event with hope and optimism. These kids love God and their country.

It would’ve been easy to sit this one out. I wasn’t on stage. There wasn’t a microphone waiting. But that’s not what this campaign is about. This campaign is about showing up — even when there’s no spotlight — and being present with the people who are shaping the future of Wyoming.

Turning Point USA is doing something powerful: it’s equipping the next generation to stand up for conservative values with boldness. And when I walked into that room, what I saw was encouraging — young men and women who believe in faith, family, freedom, and a future that doesn’t require permission slips from bureaucrats to thrive.

I spoke with students. I spoke with parents. I even spoke with a few skeptics. And that’s what politics *should* look like — not press releases and polished spin, but real conversations between people who care deeply about this state and this country.

We talked about everything from education to energy to how hard it is for young conservatives to speak their minds without getting labeled. I reminded them that the truth doesn’t become false just because it’s unpopular — and courage means telling it anyway.
