The Power of Prayer in Public Life: Wyoming’s National Day of Prayer

On May 1, 2025, I had the honor of attending the National Day of Prayer at the Wyoming State Capitol.

There were no headlines. No big cameras. Just faithful people, united in humility, standing before God and asking for wisdom, protection, and peace — for their families, their communities, and their country.

For me, this wasn’t a political event. This was a personal moment — and a public reminder that faith isn’t just something private. It belongs in the public square. It belongs in our leadership. And it certainly belongs at the foundation of everything we hope to build in Wyoming.

I stood shoulder to shoulder with pastors, teachers, parents, and students. We prayed for our leaders. We prayed for our schools. We prayed for our children. And as we prayed, I was reminded of something powerful: We are not alone in this fight.

🎥 This wasn’t livestreamed. There’s no flashy video recap. But I walked away encouraged by how many people still believe in the importance of prayer — not as a political stunt, but as a lifeline.

This campaign is built on four pillars: Faith, Family, Freedom, and the Future. And it all starts with that first word: Faith. If we lose that, we lose our moral compass. But when we return to it — boldly, unapologetically — we find the courage to lead differently.

There are those who say faith should be private. That religion has no place in government. I disagree. Not because I want a theocracy — but because I want leadership that fears God more than it fears polls. Leadership that prays before it passes policy. Leadership that sees every person — even political opponents — as someone made in the image of God.

That’s the kind of leadership I want to bring to the governor’s office.

And that’s the kind of spirit I saw on May 1st. Quiet, steady, faithful, and unshakable.

📣 If you believe prayer still matters — that it’s not outdated, but essential — I hope you’ll join this campaign. Not just with your vote, but with your voice. With your presence. With your prayers.
Because the future of Wyoming isn’t just about politics. It’s about people. And people guided by faith will never be led astray.

Give Freedom Back — because real freedom doesn’t need permission.
