On March 27, 2025, I sat down with Joey from Just Blame Joey for one of the most honest interviews of this campaign so far. Joey asked questions nobody else had — not just about policies, but about who I am, what shaped me, and why I’m running for Governor of Wyoming.
The interview wasn’t rehearsed. It wasn’t scripted. And that’s exactly what made it so real. We talked about my background — where I came from, the values I was raised with, and the road that brought me to this campaign.

We laughed. We disagreed a little. And we hit on some hard truths about what’s gone wrong in American politics and why Wyoming has an opportunity to lead something better.
Joey asked me why I’m not a typical candidate. Here’s what I told him: I’ve never been interested in joining the establishment. I’m here to challenge it. Not out of anger, but out of purpose. Because the system as it stands — bloated, unaccountable, and disconnected — doesn’t work for people anymore. It only works for itself.
We talked about the foundations of this campaign: Faith, Family, Freedom, and the Future. I explained how faith isn’t something I check at the door when the cameras come on — it’s the compass I use to make decisions, even when they’re tough. How family isn’t just personal — it’s political. Because how a government treats the family tells you everything about what it really values.
We dug into freedom — what it really means. Not just in the Second Amendment sense, or the tax policy sense (though those matter too), but freedom to speak the truth. Freedom to raise your kids without asking for permission. Freedom to work, worship, and live without bureaucratic interference.
And then there’s the Future — the reason I wake up every day and do this. I’ve got kids. I care deeply about what kind of state and country they’re going to inherit. This campaign isn’t about winning an election. It’s about restoring something we’ve lost: courage, conviction, and clarity.
Joey challenged me to define what makes this campaign different. I said: honesty. I’m not hiding my views. I’m not running from controversy. And I’m not going to sell out my principles just to win votes.
We ended the interview the same way I hope to end every conversation on this trail — with a handshake, mutual respect, and the reminder that we’re stronger when we speak plainly and live boldly.
