Media and Free Speech: Protecting freedoms

Free speech and media accountability are critical for a thriving democracy. As part of my 2026 campaign for Governor, I will advocate for policies that protect free expression while fostering responsibility and truth in media.

Faith: The Foundation

The Bible values truth and responsible communication. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). Faith calls me to defend free speech while encouraging truth, accountability, and respectful dialogue.

Family: The Reason

Media shapes the values and virtues of families. Policies must ensure families are protected from harmful content while fostering an environment where truth and positive messages thrive.

Freedom: The Result

Protecting free speech while promoting responsibility strengthens individual freedoms. Families and communities can engage in open, respectful discourse that builds unity and understanding.

Future: The Consequence

Irresponsible or unchecked media can lead to division and misinformation. A balanced approach today will ensure a future where media empowers society rather than harming it.
