On April 5, 2025, I made it official: I’m endorsing Daron Wyatt for Albany County Sheriff.
This isn’t just a political gesture. This is personal. I’ve spent time with Daron. I’ve watched how he carries himself. I’ve seen how he talks about his community, how he serves with consistency, and how he listens with intention. That kind of leadership is rare — and it’s exactly what we need right now.
Wyoming needs sheriffs who understand their role isn’t to rubber-stamp policy — it’s to stand between the people and government overreach. Daron gets that. He doesn’t just wear the badge — he bears the responsibility that comes with it.
During our conversations, we talked about constitutional integrity, the role of local law enforcement, and what it means to defend your community with both strength and humility. Daron believes in community-first policing. He believes in the Constitution. He believes that justice means more than just enforcing rules — it means serving people with fairness and courage.
Too often, elected sheriffs get comfortable. Not Daron. He’s the kind of man who will look a governor in the eye — including me — and say, “I won’t enforce that if it violates the Constitution.” That takes backbone. And I respect it.
His record speaks for itself. But it’s his character that really sets him apart. He doesn’t just talk about service — he lives it. Whether it’s working with local schools, listening to ranchers, or standing up to state or federal pressure, Daron leads with conviction.
In Albany County, there’s a choice to make. You can vote for someone who will keep the seat warm — or someone who will actively defend your rights, your property, and your community’s way of life.
This endorsement isn’t just about supporting a candidate. It’s about building a team — leaders across the state who understand what it’s going to take to Give Freedom Back. As governor, I’ll need local partners who aren’t afraid to speak the truth, to enforce the law with compassion and clarity, and to draw the line when the line needs drawing.
Daron Wyatt is one of those people.
And let’s be honest — in times like these, we don’t just need more laws. We need more leaders.
Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, wait I say on the Lord. Psalms 27:14
