The right to defend oneself, one’s family, and the defenseless is deeply rooted in Scripture. The Bible calls us to stand against evil and protect the vulnerable. “Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked” (Psalm 82:4). Faith teaches that self-defense is not only a personal right but a moral responsibility in the face of evil. The right to bear arms also safeguards against tyranny and oppression. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan”

Family: The Reason

The safety of families is paramount. Law-abiding citizens should have the right to own firearms for self-defense, hunting, and sport. Protecting families also means addressing issues like gun education, safe storage, and preventing firearms from falling into the hands of those who would misuse them. Responsible policies strengthen the family unit by fostering safety and security in every home.
