Faith: The Foundation

Wyoming has been blessed with a vast array and variety of high demand natural resources. The Bible calls us to stewardship of the earth, its creatures, and its lands. My approach will be to balance resource development with conservation, ensuring Wyoming’s abundant resources are managed responsibly. This being said, we are a world addicted to energy; it is the bedrock of everything we do, all day, every day. Wyoming has a lot of energy; we should use energy as a cornerstone for our communities, our innovations, the means by which we run and support state and local operations, and so much more.

Family: The Reason

Energy policies should create jobs and opportunities that support families while also ensuring clean air, water, and land for their well-being. Families should not have to choose between economic and environmental health. The extreme rise in energy costs in the past few years is of great concern to all of us. These increases don’t just affect our heating or electric bill; it also affect the food we buy, the commerce and entertainment we enjoy, and the travel we wish to take.

Freedom: The Result

Energy independence ensures economic, local, and national security. By responsibly harnessing Wyoming’s resources, we promote freedom from foreign dependence and provide affordable energy for our families and businesses simultaneously. In addition to this, we can leverage our resources to fund state and local operations, all while putting more back into every Wyoming resident’s pocket.

Future: The Consequence

Every energy decision must weigh its environmental and economic impact on future generations. See the section on my website about conversation for more information on this topic. Sustainable policies will preserve Wyoming’s natural beauty and resources while ensuring the long-term prosperity of our state on many fronts, both locally and nationally.
