They Call Me a Nobody — And That’s Exactly Why I’m Running

On April 16, 2025, Cowboy State Daily ran an article with the headline: “Republican Candidate For Wyoming Governor Admits He’s ‘A Nobody.’” And I’ll tell you right now — I loved it.

Because I’m not a politician. I’m not a powerbroker. I’m not a headline chaser. I’m a christian, husband, a father, a business owner, and a Wyomingite who’s tired of seeing everyday people treated like background noise in their own state.

So yes, call me “a nobody” — if that means I haven’t made a career out of playing political games. Call me “a nobody” if it means I’m still working a real job while running this campaign. And call me “a nobody” if it means I haven’t forgotten what it’s like to be the one footing the bill for government bloat.

🎙️ The article highlighted exactly what I want people to know: this is a grassroots, citizen-led campaign for real people — not the political elite. In fact you can read it for yourself here: https://cowboystatedaily.com/2025/04/16/only-one-candidate-for-wyoming-governor-so-far-and-he-admits-hes-a-nobody/

I moved to Wyoming in 2020 with my wife, who’s family are multi-generational Wyoming natives, and our family. We raise chickens and goats. We run a small web development and marketing business. We work hard. We live simply. We speak plainly. That’s what this state is all about.

I’m not running because I want to climb some ladder. I’m running because too many elected officials have forgotten who they work for. We don’t need more political grandstanders. We need difference-makers — and that’s what I’m offering.

The piece talked about how I’m showing up all over the state — hosting town halls, meeting with mayors, building a team. That’s true. I’ve got staff working in seven counties already. Because showing up matters.

We’ve got real challenges in this state: out-of-control property taxes, convoluted education systems, and gun rights that are constantly under siege by backdoor regulations. I’ve said it before — we don’t need more legislation. We need bold leadership that says, “We already have the right — now get out of the way.”

The article quoted me clearly: “We need folks who will represent the people as citizenry, not as politicians.” That’s what I believe. And if elected, I’ll lead as a citizen-governor who lives by the same laws as everyone else. If I’m caught speeding, write me a ticket. No special treatment.

They covered my stance on life: I’m 100% pro-life — no exceptions. Life begins at conception, no matter the circumstances.

They shared my thoughts on education: gut it, and rebuild it with a focus on truth, technology, mental health, and modern tools — not ideology.

And yes, they pointed out that I’ve never held office. I’m fine with that. Because what Wyoming needs isn’t another lawmaker — it needs someone who will lead from outside the system. Someone who isn’t jaded by the process. Someone who still knows what it’s like to sit at the kitchen table and wonder if your government will ever actually listen.

That’s me.

📣 If being “a nobody” means I’m not beholden to special interests, not tied to lobbyists, and not afraid to say what I really believe — then I’ll wear that badge with pride.

Because this campaign is for the people who’ve been ignored, priced out, silenced, and dismissed for too long.
