On March 21, 2025, I hosted a policy chat about taxes and government efficiency — and let’s be honest, it’s a conversation we should’ve had years ago.
The truth is, Wyoming doesn’t need more tax schemes, band-aid budgets, or bloated agencies. What we need is a reset. A clean, common-sense conversation about what government is actually supposed to do — and where it needs to get out of the way.
Let’s start with this: Wyoming doesn’t have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem. And we have a government that’s forgotten what its job is — to serve, not to grow itself.
None of that is radical. It’s just responsible.
I’m not interested in nibbling around the edges. Wyoming families don’t get to fudge their budgets, so why should government? Every dollar we take from hardworking families is a dollar that better deliver results — or it shouldn’t be spent at all.
Faith teaches us stewardship. Family teaches us priorities. Freedom teaches us limits. And the Future demands we honor all three.
You’ll hear career politicians talk a lot about “efficiency” — but what they usually mean is shifting money around and calling it reform. I’m not interested in fake fixes. I want to tear this down to the foundation and build a government that works.
Let me be blunt: If a department can’t prove it helps Wyoming, it shouldn’t get a dime. That’s not cruelty. That’s clarity.
Our tax policy needs the same honesty. No more bait-and-switch. No more burdening small businesses and families while carving out favors for insiders.
We’ll make taxes simple, transparent, and fair — because that’s what freedom looks like.
This campaign isn’t about soundbites. It’s about solutions. And when it comes to government waste and broken tax policy,
I’ve got both the courage and the plan to tackle it.
