On March 18, 2025, I hosted a policy chat that might not have had flashy headlines, but it got to the heart of one of our biggest issues: how Wyoming spends your money.
Let’s talk taxes — and more importantly, let’s talk about what happens after they’re collected. Because the truth is, Wyoming doesn’t have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.
Government has grown like a weed in this state — slowly, quietly, and with no accountability. Agencies expand their budgets year after year, and nobody’s asking the tough questions. Well, I am.
We don’t need more revenue gimmicks or taxation games. We need to do what every Wyoming family already does — live within our means, make responsible choices, and stop pretending we can buy everything and afford nothing.
This is what government efficiency looks like — not a marketing slogan, but measurable reform rooted in common sense.
But let’s be real — the deeper issue isn’t just how much we’re spending. It’s what we’ve forgotten. We’ve forgotten that money doesn’t belong to the government. It belongs to the people.
When a rancher sees his taxes go up while the roads crumble, or a small business owner can’t get a permit without 16 forms and 8 months of waiting, it’s not just bad policy — it’s broken trust.
Faith tells us to be good stewards. Family teaches us discipline. Freedom demands responsibility. And the Future will only thrive if we stop mortgaging it today.
My campaign isn’t about political spin. It’s about telling the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. Especially when it’s uncomfortable.
We need leadership willing to cut sacred cows, to say no to agencies that don’t deliver, and to redirect funding toward things that actually build value for the people — not power for the bureaucracy.
Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, wait I say on the Lord. Psalms 27:14
